His Excellency, The Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello has confirmed the appointment of Dr Salisu Ogbo Usman as a substantive Rector of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja.

In a statement released on Thursday, February 11, 2021 by the Secretary to the Kogi State Government, Dr Folashade Ayoade Arike, Dr Usman’s appointment as substantive Rector of Kogi Poly is with Immediate effect.

Dr Ogbo Usman has been serving on acting capacity following his appointment on 7th April, 2020.

He will be the ninth Rector of the Polytechnic, the first Alumnus as well as the youngest to be appointed for the institution.

In his months as acting Rector of the institution, Dr Ogbo Usman has turned around the status of the Institution.
