K1 fans club holds 2021 maiden meeting

The Kwara State chapter of K1 De Ultimate Fans Club on Sunday held its first meeting of the year as club rolled out it’s programs for the year.

The meeting which has in attendance staunch fans of the Fuji icon. Wasiu Ayinde across the state was held at Abila hotel, Ilorin.

Speaking with our reporter shortly after the event, the state chairman of the club, Kasum Salamat Bashir said the motive for the association is purely to impact the less privileged one in the society under the auspices of a social club .

“Actually this club was initiated based on the fact that every members have passion for the musical artistry of the Mayegun of Yoruba land, Wasiu Ayinde.

” And based on that we believed that it should be transcend beyond mere listening to his music but to better the society inform of charity to vulnerable in the society, ” Bashir said.

He added that club is on the verge of taking it’s activities to the orphanage homes, the less privileged and the sick people in the hospital.

“We are planing to make this club an elaborate one so that we can give back to the society. That is part of what a social club stand for.

“Parts of our plans for this year is to impact our immediate neighbour, the motherless homes and those who are facing the challenges of medical bills in the hospital,” he stressed.

Bashir further added that K1 fans club is a well established social club with international repute and its membership cuts across the 36 states of Nigeria.

“The association is a well established organization dually registered under the law of the country with over 1,000 fans in Kwara State. We have our bylaws in the state alongside the constitution of the club,” he added.
