Katsina Coach, Bazuaye tenders apology to LMC over inappropriate dressing

Katsina Utd Head Coach Baldwin Bazuaye has tendered an apology to the League Management Company (LMC) after he was charged for breaching Rule C1.4 of the NPFL Framework & Rules during the Matchday 9 game at Akwa United.

In a correspondence issued by the Changi Boys gaffer read: “I want to tender my unreserved apology to the LMC for my action in the game against Akwa United.

“My dressing was not intentional let alone meant to undermine the brand, Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL). Be it as it may, I accept the warmings handed to me, and I promise not to dress inappropriately on match days.”

Bazuaye, a Super Eagles legend was issued with a reprimand for inappropriate dressing. He was also reminded to set a positive example for players as enshrined in the Code for Managers/Coaches.

Recall in January, the veteran coach returned to Katsina United for the second spell to take over duties from Coach Bishir Sadauki who guided the team after Henry Makinwa left the club mutual consent during the off-season.

Katsina United who are placed 16th on the NPFL log with 10 points could hand themselves a boost as they welcome Jigawa Golden Stars to the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium in a Matchday 10 fixture on Sunday.
