Nigeria striker Umar Sadiq registered his 10th league goal of the LaLiga Segunda on Sunday as his side Almeria played 2-2 against Sabadell at home.
The 23 year old Umar scored the home side’s second of the game in the second half of the thrilling Spanish second tier division.
The lanky forward was in action for the entire duration, and has been playing a crucial role in Almeria’s push for LaLiga promotion.
The former Nigeria youth star is Almeria’s leading scorer in the Segunda Division with 10 goals in 19 league appearances so far this campaign.
Almeria, meanwhile, are third on the league table with 42 points from 21 games – three points adrift of joint leaders Espanyol and Mallorca.
Umar Sadiq will be aiming to help the Rojiblancos continue their good run when they host Castellon for their next league fixture on January 30.
The former AS Roma forward is one goal away from matching his personal goalscoring record in a league season, after he scored 11 goals in 18 Super Liga matches for Partizan Belgrade during the 2019-20 campaign.
