Member representing Lokoja/Kogi Federal Constituency, Hon. Shaba Ibrahim MHR; has on Monday, April 18, 2022; emerged as consensus candidate of the PDP for the 2023 Lokoja/Kogi Federal Constituency election.

Hon. Shaba Ibrahim, in his acceptance speech thanked Almighty Allah for His Rahma always.

He also thanked leaders of PDP in Lokoja/Kogi Federal Constituency led by Senator Tunde Ogbeha; Dr Musa Ahmadu; the State deputy chairman of the party, Hon. Sam Ranti Abenemi; the Lokoja Local Government PDP Chairman, Hon. Ibrahim Isah Saba; the Kogi Local Government PDP Chairman, Hon. Ibrahim Saidu Ohi, among others, for their leadership that has engendered a near total unanimity in the choice of candidates from the array of aspirants seeking various elective offices across Lokoja/Kogi Federal Constituency.

He also thanked the trio of Hon. Danlami Bologi, Hon. Danladi Bababudon and Hon. El-Shettima Agbogun, erstwhile aspirants in the election for the House of Representatives for their magnanimity in placing party above personal interest while pledging his hand of fellowship to all in the quest to move the PDP forward.

“We must unite as a party to vote out the APC-led Government at all levels, that has brought nothing other than misery and squalor to Nigerians,” he said.
