The management of M&N Football Club of Oyo State is set to drag a Football Intermediary/Agent to FIFA, CAF and the Nigeria Football Federation(NFF), after it declared one of its players, Ayodele Ibrahim Adesina AWOL (Absent With Out Leave).
According to M&N FC, Adesina has a valid contract with the club and was loaned to Ottassolo FC where he featured for the Lagos-based privately owned team in the 2022 Aiteo Cup (FA Cup).
In a loan contract dated February 5, 2022, it was mutually agreed by both parties that Ayodele Ibrahim Adesina will feature for Ottassolo FC for one season on loan in the NNL season.
And after the expiration of the 2022 season, he (Ayodele Ibrahim Adesina) will automatically return to his parent club (M&N FC).
But in a twist, Adesina’s whereabouts are not known by the management of M&N Football Club and Ottassolo.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the agency managing M&N Football Club, Japan-based Bolarinwa Obalola, is furious at the unprofessional attitude of some Football Intermediary/Agent who are set to hijack his client, as Adesina has not been seen after the expiration of his loan deal, let alone returned to his parent club.
“Adesina is a registered player of M&N FC and has an agreement with my agency in which he has been under my management.
” My agency loaned him to Ottassolo FC, the loan deal ended after the end of the NNL season and he was supposed to travel at the end of this month.
“I did exchange calls with Ottassolo and they said they are not aware of his whereabouts, later I discovered that another agent has been disturbing him a long time ago and now he can’t be located.
“Even the team he supposes to join in Portugal is still expecting him, this is why am declaring him AWOL.
“I want to use this medium to inform whoever has Ayodele Ibrahim Adesina in his custody to release him because he has a valid contract with M&N Football Club.”
