NNL: Akinwale Ogunjobi reveals Go Round target for 2022 season

Vice captain of Nigeria National League, NNL side, Go Round FC, Akinwale Ogunjobi has stated that his team’s priority this season will be a return to the summit of the Nigerian League Football known as the Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL.

The former My People FC right back who already has a goal to his name this season stated that he and his colleagues are more than determined and are better positioned for a return to Nigeria’s top tier league this season and they won’t be leaving anything to chance.

The Ikotun brought up who has also had stints at the grass root level with Abu Zico and Bucknor FC also spoke about his appointment as the first Assistant Captain of his side as well as his exploits last season and how he plans to bring the experience to help his team achieve its goals in the current campaign.

‘’ I have been in this team for a while now, about four years and I am very excited to have been named as the first Assistant captain of the side. It means more responsibility for me and it means the management must have seen some leadership attributes in me before naming me as the first vice captain of the side.

‘Last season I featured in all the games with GO ROUND and I can categorically say I now have a good knowledge of a lot of the sides in the NNL this season and I believe with that knowledge and the determination of every member of the team, we have a very good chance to return back to the summit this season.

‘We gave a very good account of ourselves last season and could have secured a slot but it wasn’t to be but we have learnt our lessons from last season and will put the lessons to use this season as we progress this season

‘We are also careful not to allow our current form get into our head and we will keep taking it one game at a time until our goal is achieved at the end of the season.’’ Concluded Ogunjobi.
