Nigerian striker, Umar Sadiq was instrumental for his side Almeria as they secured convincing 1-0 away win over Tenerife in the Matchday 33 of LaLiga Segunda on Friday.

The Olympics Silver medalist created an assist that secured maximum points for Almeria when he put Largie Ramanazi through with a final pass which the youngster calmly finished up.

The sleek and lanky forward was however swapped for Plaza Centelles with two minutes to end the game.

The win has however put Almeria in comfortable third position for promotion having garnered 66 points from 38 games.

The Kaduna born forward has swelled his goal involvement this season to 22 having scored 18 league goals and provided four assists in 33 matches.

The 24 year old is waiting for his first senior cap for Super Eagles haven missed last month’s double header AFCON qualifiers due to Covid 19 challenges.
