The President of the students association, Comr. Rowland David told news men in Lokoja that Abejide was taken as a case study because of his illustrious representation of the constituency in green chambers. He added the Abejide’s representation has touched the lifes of all strata of the Yagba community, starting from children, students, youths and the aged.

Rowland David stressed that Abejide’s has offered the best representation so far in the history of Yagba Federal Constituency, it is important to appreciate him and also challenge him to do better.

The celebration is scheduled to hold on 2nd of October at Aiyegboyin Hotel in Lokoja.

Ahead of the forthcoming general election, a front-line aspirant of Mopamuro Constituency in Kogi State House of Assembly under the platform of African Democratic Congress (ADC), Julius Olushola Abel (Ontop) has picked up his nomination and expression of interest forms.

Ontop who was accompanied by a mammoth crowd of supporters purchased the forms at the state party secretariat in Lokoja on Tuesday.

Speaking to newsmen at the party secretariat, Ontop said his aspiration was inspired by his passion to serve the people at the grass-root level.

He stated that he had envisioned himself leading his people to conquer the many leadership problems which had been the source of bad governance and poor society.

The house of assembly hopeful noted that his aspiration was directed by God Almighty, and it is in the interest of the common Nigeria people.

He assured of delivering dividends of democracy via providing Legislative Proactiveness that will bring about the provision Human Capital Development, Tourism, and Social Amenities to the people.

He commended Elder Leke Abejide, a member representing Yagba Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives for his proactive and development oriented representation, which translated to building the party and making it to become a household name in Kogi State and Nigeria.

Ontop assured of emulating the rep member to deliver good representation if given the opportunity.

He seeks and pleaded for the support of all Nigerians and the people of Mopamuro Constituency.
