A new and better Nigeria is possible despite the fact that the country is presently gripped in the claws of insecurity, poor education system, worsening energy crises due to absence of local refining of petroleum products and inadequate electricity generation, transmission and distribution.

A modern Nigeria capable of securing itself from internal and external threats, provide jobs for her teeming youth currently unemployed through a sustainable economic development plan, and reduce the scourge of poverty and corruption is possible and realisable.

The current challenges facing the country remain an opportunity for the right individuals to take mantle of leadership in the country.

Nigerians need a person of competence and compassion, someone who is very selfless and a pan-Nigerian nationalist with a track record of a life of service.

We need a true Nigerian that is accepted in all parts of the country, exposed to all parts of the country in the reality of his life, not in talks and the person must have friends in every part of Nigeria. We need a person who is interested in collegial leadership.

If elected as President, JKF will find a lasting solution to ASUU war with the federal government and Nigerian universities will be able to compete with the best in the world; our universities will attract the best students and best teachers; students will start trooping to Nigeria from all over the world; our academics and researchers will be celebrated globally for their contributions to knowledge and our children will be able to graduate at the stipulated time without any delay or strike.

JKF achievements in Ekiti State and as the Chairman of Nigeria Governors’ Forum is a prove and testimony that Nigeria will be great under his watch. He is a man of honour, a bridge builder and patriot, who will unite the country and salvage it from its current challenges.

Dr. John Kayode Fayemi’s blueprint to diversify and reform the economy, invest in education, give adequate security and revamp the transportation system would transform the country. JKF will unite Nigerians across ethnic and religious divides if elected the president.

John Kayode Fayemi has been tested and trusted in critical areas of political leadership as two-time Governor of Ekiti State and also as two-time Chairman of Nigeria Governors’ Forum. Looking at his blue print, we notice that it’s aimed at taking Nigeria out of the doldrums.

We have a man in our hands who has all it takes to make Nigeria a great nation. That man is Dr John Kayode Fayemi (JKF).

Following the official declaration of His Excellency Yahaya Bello, to honour the call of Nigeria Youths to contest for the presidential election come 2023, the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Kogi State Chapter, has continued its campaign for GYB2PYB emancipation.

It would be recalled that in 2021, the state NYCN under the leadership of Amb. Ogohi Usman, had embarked on a tour across the 21 Local Governments in the state and further extended the tour to interstate across the North Central States.

In his opening remarks in Kaduna on Friday, the host state Chairman of Kaduna NYCN Chapter, Bagudu Nathaniel, expressed his delight in having the NYCN delegates from Kogi State, noting that the chapter has fared well under the administration of Governor Yahaya Bello.

According to him, the quest to support the GYB2PYB candidature for the 2023 presidential general election is simply born out of the capacity shown by GYB and the transformation projects carried out in Kogi State.

He further added that he is quite sure and positive that when GYB becomes PYB, the total transformation he brought to Kogi will be replicated in Nigeria, with the issue of security in view.

Earlier, the Kogi NYCN Chairman, Amb. Ogohi Usman, urged Nigerian youth to be united in taking over power in 2023, saying, “power, as we all know, is not given but taken without violence”.

According to him, bringing out and supporting a candidate is only the beginning of an election process.

”Hence we must know that if our voices must be heard through the candidature of Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello, who has finally harkened to the call of Nigerian youth, we must all come out in our strength and voices to support him till the very end.

“At the time GYB became Governor, Kogi was groaning and bleeding, Kidnapping and armed robbery were twin crimes that gained notoriety, making it one of the most unsafe and insecure in the country.

”Though, a situation he inherited, he didn’t bulge, but it was his first test and he grabbed the bull by the horn by now making the state the most secure place in the country.

“With an emphasis on five thematic areas covering health, infrastructures and utilities, public service and pension reforms, education and youth engagement, GYB  was able to structure plans, programmes and policies of the government which all his giant stride projects were driven and implemented”. he said.

Usman further stressed that surely the time is the youth’s 0′ clock and it’s the time for youth to take their future into their hands through the capable leadership of Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello, who like the late Abiola who played borderless politics.

In their various responses, the State Chairmen from Kano NYCN, Awwalu Moh’d and Jigawa NYCN Chairman, Aliyu Yahaya lauded the credible achievements in Kogi and the bold step taken to lead the Presidential race for all Nigerian youths.

They further stressed that his achievements are speaking for him already, adding that the network chain of the NYCN across the 36 states including FCT would be put to proper use.

Similarly, former executives of the council and appointees of Governor Bello, Hon. Israel Alonge, Hon. Emmanuel Isah, Rahinat Muhammad and others, emphasised on the achievements of GYB in the state and how Nigeria especially its security challenges can be transformed as he did in Kogi State.

The highlights of the tour were questions and answers sessions, goodwill messages from critical stakeholders, and speeches from National Delegates from APC Youth wing in Northwest.

The Unified Northern Nigeria Youths’ Forum within the All Progressive Congress (APC), has urged youths in Kogi to join in intensifying call on the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor, Dr Godwin Emefiele to contest for Nigeria presidency in 2023 election.

The Convener of the group, Mohammed Danlami, spoke at a news conference on Wednesday in Lokoja, said Dr Emefiele remained the APC’s only chance to winning the 2023 presidential election.

He noted that the northern youth group was on a clarion call because they have realised that the unity of Nigeria is non negotiable, saying from the time immemorial, Nigeria has been ruled by two blocs; the north and the south.

He decried the divisive ambition of some selfish northern politicians to disrupt the existing presidential zoning arrangement between the north and south, which had engendered the unity of Nigeria.

Danlami stressed that Nigeria as a country had passed through many challenges, saying what has been keeping us together as a country was the brotherhood we shared.

He noted that ‘President Muhammadu Buhari, who is from the north would complete his eight years’ tenure in 2023, and the fair thing to do is to zone presidency to the south and give them total support for the unity of Nigeria.

He said that as youths from the northern Nigeria they have consulted with 17 northern States and Kogi would be the 18th State in the series.

According to him, we have supported regular politicians long enough without tangible results, let us try something different to support a technocrat.

”We, in the unified northern youths’ forum, have realised that what Nigeria need now is a detribalised Nigerian, who is very compentent with capacity, and ready to transform all sectors of the Nigeria economy.

”We have realised that among President Muhammadu Buhari’s appointees no one has contributed so immensely to the success of Nigeria like Gowdin Emefiele,” Danlami said.

He, therefore enjoined all Kogi youths and all other stakeholders to join them in the call for Emefiele to contest for 2023 presidency, stressing that he remained the most qualified candidate to replace Buhari.

Also speaking, Mr Aliyu Sani, the Spokesperson of the group, reiterated that the CBN Governor remained the APC’s only chance to winning the 2023 presidential election.

”The consensus card seems to be playing out well, and now that the 2023 general election approaches us, the techniques and magic of the consensus card must employed once more for APC to retain power.

”But only that this time, one man must emerge from the consensus, a technocrat, versatile, with vast knowledge of the economy, the captain of the Nigeria’s apex Bank leading the diversification of Nigeria’s economy, the savior of an economy that was doomed and faith to crash unconditionally, a stabilizing force, hardworking and dedicated Gentleman, Dr Godwin Emefiele.

”A born leader, with so much love for the project Nigeria; this explains his commitment and certainly the desire to tirelessly work day and night for the good of the public.

”In the course of our tour across the 17 Northern States we visited, this being the 18th, the Unified Northern Nigeria Youth Forum realized constantly in all states, the people are now aware of the man behind stabilizing the economy, charged with the responsibility of reviving the economy to compete both nationally and internationally.

”By virtue of his antecedents as the Zenith Bank captain and pilot of the CBN, the Nigerian masses want him to be given the seat of leadership for peace, Progress and Prosperity to be restored to Nigeria,” Sani said.

He highlighted all the tremendous achievements of the CBN Governor, adding that: ”personally, Dr Godwin Emefiele is scandal free, never has there been any scandal attached to him from his days in the private sector to now in the Central Bank of Nigeria.

”He is full of integrity, sincerity, trustworthy, accountable and transparent.

”Even though he practices Christianity, religious sentiment is not his thing, he is not a religious bigot, he embraces everyone, irrespective of their religion or tribe, because he believes in the unity of Nigeria.

”It is clear now beyond reasonable doubt that if it is highest level of competence, credibility, merit, performance, dedication, hard work, commitment and economic growth we desire, then Dr Godwin Emefiele is the only candidate standing tall ahead of other candidates.

”He is APC’S best and only chance to winning the 2023 presidential election because only him epitomizes all these qualities.

”We must halt and focus our attention and energy to call on Dr Godwin Emefiele to contest for the president of this Giant of Africa, so that Peace, Progress and Prosperity will be the new order of the day”.

The Emefiele Mobilization Team (EMT), has commended the Coordinating Centre of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) in Nigeria, for the expulsion of erring members over the smear campaign against the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor, Dr Godwin Emefiele.

The EMT is a group of patriots under the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) who have been calling on Emefiele to run for the 2023 presidential election.

The CSOs had in an online publication accused the CBN Governor of of compromising the apex bank through his political activities.

The EMT Publicity Secretary, Comrade Shaibu Udale Ochedi, in statement on Monday in Lokoja, extolled the leadership of the mainstream CSOs for the expulsion of the erring group to salvage its reputation.

”When we warned and advised the merchants of political propaganda to return what they were paid for the bad job well executed, they thought we merely mischievously blabbed.

”But, not even up to 72 hours of our professionally godly advice, the Coordinating Centre of Civil Society Organizations in Nigeria, found it expediently pertinent to sack the group of political merchants from the body of civil society organisations.

”Perhaps, the coordinating centre of the CSOs just realized the monumental liabilities rather than assets that the trio of Ariyo-Atoye, Onuwubiko and Giwa Victor and their likes have been to the soundly constituted body of CSOs in Nigeria. Well, it is better late than never!

”That, the mainstream CSOs went on to lampoon the ill-lconceived smear campaign on the person of Emefiele leaves us with the hope that there are still credible Nigerians amongst these well known “Conscience For Sale” individuals masquerading as advocate of the masses”, Ochedi said.

He noted that Emefiele had made policies in the area of education, health, agriculture, industry and social credits have brought about positive transformation in these sectors and strengthened the Nigerian economy.

He recalled that Emefiele made Zenith Bank one of the biggest in Nigeria today from his days as Managing Director, adding that his professional acumen brought about the introduction of first Central Bank Digital Currency by any country in Africa.

He emphasized that the Apex Bank Governor also introduced the e-naira which has improved payment system in Nigeria, reduced cost of handling cash, and more efficient and cost effective means of payment.

The publicity secretary further stressed that the renown banker has successfully promoted financial inclusion across board, and ensured a stronger banking system since assuming Office as Governor of the CBN.

According to him, the CBN Governor has embarked on development financing with a view to providing credit support to Agriculture, Energy, Health Sector etc,, and had recently orchestrated the lunch of the largest Rice Pyramid in West Africa.

He, therefore said that one would have expected that an astute professional like Emefiele in his line of job should have been excluded from the dust-filled, reckless stone-throwing and pull-to-the-gutters style of politics that has characterized the body polity.

”But, because some conscienceless wolves in sheep clothing must pay their bills, hence, all these achievements do not matter to them.

”Let it be known however, that whatever their shades of attacks on Mr Emefiele, previously and in the nearest future, we, in the EMT remain unperturbed, undeterred and resolutely firm in our push to convince him to run for the highest position in the land.

”And until our call for this national good is heeded by Mr Emefiele to contest for President of Nigeria, no amount of politically contrived machinations shall properly get our response.

”Until then, our prayers remain that, Mr Godwin Emefiele, the best hand for Nigeria we have identified, accepts our national clarion call.

”The more their self-styled distraction, the more the push from us because we are well informed to know that which is right for our dear country and peoples,” he said.

As Nigerians especially the youth of this country agitate for a Youthful President come 2023, deciding on which candidate to support and vote as president is simply a matter of party affiliation for many people.

However, we must understand that the value of leadership is trust, the power of leadership is integrity and the vehicle of leadership is empathy.

If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, then you’re a leader. Innovation is what distinguishes between a Leader and a follower.

Without mincing words, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, the Executive, Governor Kogi State has overtime proven beyond reasonable doubt that he’s an innovative, inspirational and Visionary Leader. GYB as he is fondly referred has overtime Distinguished himself from his counterpart in the Nation’s politics and as concerned citizen of this country, we’re very confident that a new Nigeria is possible and visible with GYB as president of this country.

This is because he will no doubt inspire and do more for Nigerians particularly within the Youths and Women demography as is presently witnessed in Kogi State where the Youths and Women are not only leaders now but are the kings and queens.

Successful people build others, they inspire, motivate and push the children of nobody’s to a greater height. This is what GYB has done in Kogi State by building, motivating and inspiring the youth of Kogi State to a greater heights through various appointments and electives positions without identifying any godfatherism attached to any of them.

GYB is an optimist, an epitome of hope, great achiever, bridge builder, a great unifier, simple, dogged, gifted, passionate, dedicated, a political hero with vision and mission to effectively serve and will ensure an indivisible, united, greater and better Nigeria.

Everyone can be a leader but only a selected few can become greater leaders whose mention of their names will symbolize exceptional leadership that are synonymous with great accomplishment.

GYB is a great leader whose hallmarks is always to lead his team to success regardless of any situation and he has demonstrated this amongst the crops of leaders that he’s a great leader whose honesty and transparency is second to none.

Some persons are making noise in the town just to achieve or get some unmerited, undeserved and cheap popularity claiming that GYB is a friend to enemies of President Muhammad Buhari and as such must be suspended from the party.

Though we the Youth are not worried about their negative views on Media and off the media about our clarion call for GYB to run. This is because when the debate is lost, the slander becomes the tools of the loser.

I want to ask some questions which demands an answer from some of you who are still sitting on the fence either watching on how GYB will win or how you’re going to run away when he has become President, Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Where were you when GYB presented himself as a sacrificial lamb for the Youths during the Endsars Protest ?, where were you when GYB presented himself as a bridge between the bourgoises and the proletarians?, The Marchant of coronavirus in Nigeria for the common man is another critical areas that GYB has Distinguished himself from others and his postulations are manifesting everyday.

According to Aristotle ” it is not enough to win a war; it is more important to organize the peace” on this note, GYB as a proactive leader who believes in the peaceful coexistence of every citizens in Nigeria organized a peaceful settlement between the Amalgamated union of foodstuffs and cattle dealers Association of Nigeria and some part of the nation. This effort has averted another war in this country and that proactive and timely move has attracted so many accolades from various organizations, from political leaders, religious leaders and critical stakeholders from the nook and crannies of Nigeria and in diaspora.

According to margaret thatcher ” Standing in the middle of the road is very dangerous; you get knocked down by the traffic from both sides.” My dear people of Nigerians, GYB possesses so many qualities that makes him a great leader and that includes: agility, accessible, bold, brave, Charismatic, Energetic, Eloquence, Egalitarianism, fearless, patriotic, integrity, Visionary, Competent, detribalised, youthful, focused, simple, vocal and vibrant.

For those who are still standing aloof, this train is moving fast, join or park aside, don’t stand as an obstacle or stand in the middle of the road, if not you’ll be crushed or knocked down.

For those who are the leaders of tommorow, it’s “youth O’clock” and GYB is our torchbearer, the bridge builder, the unifier and the key to a New, greater and better Nigeria come 2023 by the Grace of God, his good works and the Clarion call of majority Nigerians.

A socio cultural group of middle belt origin, named Assembly of North Central People (ANCP) has called for improved security of lives and properties of Nigerians.

The group described as barbaric, the incessant kidnappings by bandits and killings of innocent Nigerians by bokoharam insurgents.

In a communique issued at the emergency meeting of the group held in Abuja, the group said it will no longer condone the coordinated attacks on the people of North Central.

The group stated that the recent kidnapping of some students at a college in Kagara Niger State was a testament to the porosity in security architecture of the country.

“ANCP will no longer tolerate the wanton and indiscriminate maltreatment of Nigerians. We condemn in totality the recent kidnap of some students at a school in Kagara Niger State.”

“The immediate interest of this group is to bring together the people of North Central Zone to harness the great opportunity embedded in the area; therefore, the group is committed to catering for the welfare and socio economic need of its people and the entire Nigerians”

“ANCP is a baby of necessity, formed by like minds to cater for the socio-economic, cultural and political development of North Central Nigeria and the good people of the zone.” Part of the communique read.

The group further reiterated that in no distant future, ANCP will embark on a sensitization drive among the people of the zone and the entire country on the need to consider the North Central in the scheme of things as it concern political arrangement of the entity called Nigeria.
