”We will come up with estimates, and our memo will begin to fly, and approvals will follow. Whatever thing we have to do would be done immediately, because we have no time to waste.

”We do not expect that the next rainy season will come and meet those schools in that form; it is going be disastrous.

” So, we are going to work assiduously to ensure we get all the approvals for us to commence renovation and rehabilitation of our technical colleges”, he said.

”Let me say clearly that the intention is for us to do everything possible to bring back all the students that have gone, because the principal told us that many have left the school.

”From the report I have, it shows that the school had a total population of about 450 students in 2018, but today the population have dropped to about 100 plus”, he said.

He stressed the need to position the school to produce sufficient number of students that would graduate and be admitted into the newly established Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTECH), Osara in Kogi Central senatorial district.

He thanked the governor for being very listening and caring, and for giving them direction in all matters, while thanking the Commissioner for education for his support and cooperation.
