With two weeks to the 2022 Teqball World Series, Paris, France, the Nigeria Teqball Federation has invited the four Athletes to close camping in Abuja.

Victor Oyemade, Khalid Yahyah and Ijeoma Obi arrived Abuja on Thursday to join Gloria Sylvester of N-Youth Teqball, Abuja who replaces Rashidat of Lasora Teqball Club Ilorin.

The Athletes will participate in four events at the Series: Men’s Doubles, Women’s Doubles and 2 Mixed Doubles from the 18th – 20th March, 2022 in Paris, France.

The Head of Technical and Education will alongside Coach Ernest will work with the Athletes for the period of the camping in Abuja.

“We are doing everything humanly and legally possible to ensure that our Athletes are well prepared and motivated to compete in Paris during the 2022 Teqball World Series” the General Secretary Mr. Edede Ndudi told newsmen in Abuja.

Mr Adetula who also doubles as the Public Relations Officer of the Nigeria Olympic Committee will over see the establishment and development of Teqball in Ondo state.

In a letter signed by the General Secretary, Nigeria Teqball Federation, Ndudi E. Edede, Phemmy Adetula will also choose his executive board to pilot the affairs of the association in the sunshine state.

“You will accomplish all task of the association including: administration, registration related to the establishment and development of the State Teqball Association on pro tem basis from the aforementioned date”.

Speaking on his appointment Oluphemmy Adetula revealed that he is up to the challenge of establishing Ondo state as one of the best place for Teqball using the human resources the sunshine state is blessed with.

“This is a good opportunity to promote the sport of Teqball as well as provide the teeming youths of Ondo state a chance to be early adopters of this unique sport and dominate in no distant time”.

NIGTEQ is recognized by the Nigeria Olympic Committee (NOC) and the International Federation of Teqball (FITEQ), the International Sport Federation responsible for the worldwide management, practice, development and promotion of the sports.

Yaradua Yahaya has been appointed Chairman Kwara State Teqball Association by the Nigeria Teqball Federation.

In his acceptance speech, the former Rainbow FC player promised to make Kwara State among the top states in Teqball.

Yaradua Yahaya aka Yaramovic said the sport will be taken to the nook and cranny of Kwara State adding that his target is to see players from the state represent Nigeria.

The former NEPA of Ilorin player said, “My appointment as chairman of Teqball in Kwara is not for myself but for the good people of Kwara State.

“My core mandate is to see Kwara state emerge as one of the best states in Teqball. We shall not limit ourselves to the state capital alone but visit the 16 Local Government Areas of the state to fish out hidden talents.

“I shall not rest until players of the state represent Kwara at International tournaments.

The Vice Chairman Ilorin West Football Association (FA) solicited support from sports stakeholders in the state in order to succeed.

He said, “I am calling on lover of sports in Kwara state to support my new vision and I am optimistic the name of Kwara State will be written in gold in Teqball”.
