The Kogi State Independent Electoral Commission (KOSIEC) has taken possession of both sensitive and the non \u2013 sensitive materials preparatory to this Saturday\u2019s Local Government Elections across the 21 LGAs of the State.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

While receiving the materials on Thursday in Lokoja, the Commissioner, Mallam Mamman Nda Eri said receipt of the materials was a demonstration of the commission\u2019s readiness for the election.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He said sorting of the materials would begin on Friday to determine the what goes to each polling units, wards and Local Government Area, adding that the exercise would be witnessed by all stakeholders, including all political parties, the Inter Party Advisory Council (IPAC), the political parties, security agencies among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
