With years of dedication to the University of Ilorin team, two players players have created a bit of history for themselves as they finally bowed out of colligate football with their heads held high.

From the days of Suraj Ayeleso (now with Plateau United), Akeem Audu (ex ABS and Kwara United), Adams Jesse (Swan Selected) and a host of others, The University of Ilorin have not an influx of young talented players just as they have them now.

And it was not surprising that these young chaps took the world of colligate football by storm as they were almost invisible despite the politics in our football.

With the just concluded HiFL season (2022), two important players from the Coach Isiaka Baba Gambari led warriors will call it quits from the team.
