Delta Queens were crowned 2022 Sheroes Cup champions after a 5-4 penalty shootouts victory over Edo Queens in Abuja on Saturday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To reach the final, Edo Queens finished on top of the table with 19 points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Delta Queens, on their own part, picked 17 points from seven games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At Moshood Abiola Stadium, the game ended 0-0 at the end of regulations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Goalkeeper Anderlin Mgbechi produced two saves in the penalty shootouts as Delta Queens won 5-4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Earlier, at the same venue, Nasarawa Amazons defeated Confluence Queens 2-0 to claim third place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For individual accolades, the Fair Play Award went to Naija Ratels, while Best Coach was given to Edo Queens’ Moses Aduku.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
