Nigeria U23 hopeful Ismaheel Taofeeq believes that Beveren were worthy winners as they put Lierse to the sword at Herman Vanderpoortenstadion on Sunday evening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beveren fought from a goal down to win the game 5-1. And the winger has insisted that his team were worth the three points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ismaheel Taofeeq lasted the full duration and was exciting at the flank.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Lierse were a complicated opponent,” he told reporters. “But we remained calm and I think we deserved the win.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We came out with a very good attitude. We knew it was important to get victory.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ismaheel Taofeeq who is on loan from Lorient has provided three assists from nine league games this season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I feel better with each game, but I know what I can offer and I\u2019m aware that I can still make improvements. Let me say that I\u2019m only at 60 per cent\u2026”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
