Inauguration Anniversary: Wemi Jones Eulogises Gov. Bello Over Unprecedented Achievements in Education

The Kogi State Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology (MOEST), Hon. Wemi Jones, FCIB, congratulated His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, on the one year anniversary of his second tenure in office, describing his achievements in education sector as unprecedented.

Jones have the commendation in a statement he released on Tuesday in Lokoja, to mark the one year anniversary of the governor’s second term, and five years in office as the fifth Executive Governor of Kogi State.

”On behalf of the Management and Staff of Kogi State Ministry of Education, Science and Technology (MOEST), I, Hon. Wemi Jones, FCIB, heartily felicitates with our dynamic and visionary leader, the Executive Governor, His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, and His Deputy, Chief Edward David Onoja, on this auspicious occasion of your one year of second term in office.

”For us in the education sector, your Excellency’s landmark achievements during the period under review had been phenomenal.

”Your aggressive step in the establishment of Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTECH), Osara, the upgrading of School of Agriculture, Ochaja, from Certificate to Diploma Awarding Institution, and the Government’s policies on science and technology education from basic to tertiary among others are unprecedented in the history of Kogi State.

”It is our fervent prayer that the Almighty God grant your Excellency more wisdom to pilot the affairs of Kogi State to a greater height.
