Nigerian and Almeria striker, Sadiq Umar has been recognized for his impressive performance in Spanish Second Division with the player of the month nomination.

The rave of the moment in the Spanish second tier league, whose team edged out LaLiga side, Osasuna, after defeated another la Liga team in the third round where Sadiq Umar got a brace in that fixture.

Almeria beat Osasuna on penalty shoot out to progress the 5th round cup game on Wednesday.

Sadiq who has been instrumental so far for the progress of the Almeria FC who are presently 3rd position on the log and quarter final of the Copa de ray.

The tall striker, Umar Sadiq has netted 18 goals in all competitions this season has been nominated for player of the month alongside Sergio Ruiz of UD Las Palmas and Bernado Espinosa of Girona FC.
