NLO22: How FOSLA FC subdue Setraco FC in Abuja derby

Home boy Musa Abdullahi entered the history books as he became the first player to score a competitive goal at the new Fosla Football Club stadium in Karshi Abuja.

Musa an indigine of Karshi, connected from a beautifully taken free kick from Nabala Vincent for the opener in the 36 minutes of the encounter, which saw the referee issuing as much as six yellow and one red cards to the Setraco players who were very physical for better half of the game.

Abdulsallam Hassan took the game beyond the visitors in the 80th minute, when he lashed on a through pass to power home the second goal of the match.

Fosla FC who played very brilliantly and neutralized their opponents in every department of the game, despite playing without eight of their regular players who are attending the NUGA games in Lagos with Nasarawa State University Keffi.

Fosla FC next match will be against another Abuja based team Supreme Court FC in Karshi.

Before the match, the Proprietor of the team, and former NFF President Alhaji Sani Lulu Abdullahi had formally unveiled the home and away Jerseys of the team. The unveiling was done along side the Chairman of the Fosla Academy Board Alhaji Ismaila Muhammed.

An elated Lulu said the Fosla project is gradually evolving after starting off with the Academy in 2011, and now to the football club which is setting the pace as been the first Football Club in country to have an all Undergraduate players of a university. He appreciated Nigerians that have supported the project, and rewarded fans with free replica copies of the jerseys.
