2023: Why Governor Yahaya Bello Remains the Most Credible – Hon. Idris Oando

The Kogi State Honourable Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Idris Musa (Danjuma Oando) has joined his voice in the call on Governor Yahaya Bello for the 2023 Presidency race

Hon. Idris declared his support for the Presidential bid of Governor Yahaya Bello while addressing throng of well meaning Nigerians and party followers during the Grand Finale Campaign tour of the All Progressive Congress, APC  at Ankpa, his Local Government Area

The Honorable Commissioner who enjoined all Nigerian youths to pray and support the actualisation of this vision and call by concerned Nigerians in his words said;

“Nigeria belongs to all of us, it is pertinent that in the spirit of ensuring fairness, equity and social justice, all registered political parties in the country must consider zoning their 2023 Presidency to the North Central state in order to create a balance in the nation’s leadership structure, stressing that only the North Central and South-Eastern zone had not been privilege to serve the nation in that capacity despite their age long support and contributions to nation building

Hon. Idris charged all lovers of Nigeria, youths and relevant stakeholders, especially in the North Central States to throw their full weight and support behind the call and pressure on the Kogi State executive Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello by the good people of the state and concerned home and diaspora based Nigerians to run for the country’s number one office come 2023 in contributing his quota to national development

“ With the clamour for change by our youths, this is the right time for the younger generation to take over leadership and Governor Yahaya Bello as the youngest Governor is the most qualified because he possesses all the requisite to leading the nation to greatness

He expressed confidence that Governor Bello’s emergence as Nigeria’s president would bring a new dawn for the North central states; a consolidation to the age long leadership gap, hope for women and teeming youth population in the country via empowerment initiatives, and fast track grassroot developments as proven by his track records while upholding the bond and beauty of our national unity.

“Today, in Kogi state, sentiment along religious or ethnic divide is far gone into extinction. He added

“The youthful Governor Bello has within his time in office embarked on giant stride projects, programs and policies that has always put the Confluence state on the right path for progress, the recent been the maintained bold resistance and proactive undertaken steps during the covid-19 (corona virus) pandemic, even when others saw it as an avenue for looting public funds at the detriment of the people they represent

He further declared that Nigeria wouldn’t have been plunged into the last witnessed phase of “recession” if the Governor’s economic advice during the enforced total lockdown protocol were strictly heeded;

“It is worthy of note that despite the purportedly recorded cases by the NCDC for Kogi state, Kogi remains the only state with the lowest accorded figures and our Governor deserves commendation for his managerial approach with a national task to expand his tentacles across the shores of our country

Hon Idris emphatically declared that only Governor Yahaya Bello and Kogi state have fully implemented the 35% women participation in politics via his appointments;

“Today, Gender  inequality has died a natural death in our dear state with the SSG, HoS, Varsity Vc, Governor’s ADC all women and several others to emerge in key political offices upon the December 12 Council Poll as Vice Chairmen, Councillors and Leaders, respectively.

“I am calling on all the good people of Kogi State, the North Central states and Nigerian youths both home and diaspora based to key in and support our youthful and useful Governor who had distinguished himself via exceptional performances and leadership qualities, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello to run for the 2023 Presidential election as he has all it takes to pilot this nation, Nigeria to greatness.

Hon. Idris further counselled party stalwarts, ardent supporters and Ankpa concerned citizens to come out en masse to exercise their franchise by voting to bring on board the respective candidates of the APC in the December 12 Council election

“I am confident all our candidates shall emerge victorious at the poll on a landslide margin. He added

He however charged Hon. Abagwu and respective councillorship candidates to remain grassroot ambassadors of the New Direction Administration aimed at Doing More for the good people of the state.
