Hat trick hero for Nigeria’s Golden Eaglets at the FIFA U17 World Cup, Ibrahim Sa’id has revealed secrets of his team’s comeback victories.

Nigeria have twice recorded victories coming from the losing notes. First was against Hungary in their opening group game and the latest was on the same version against Ecuador where Sa’id bagged first hat trick of this edition of the World Cup.

The excited Sa’id disclosed that team effort and the desire to recreate history were the Eaglets’ comeback tonic adding that the team would harder to win back the trophy.

“I feel happy to get this hat trick, its not by me alone, its with the help of my team mates and prayers from all Nigerians.

“We felt that losing will not go down well for us and for Nigerians, so we talked to ourselves on the pitch and went back into the game with one mind and win the match.

“We want Nigerians to keep on supporting us and by the grace of God we will win our next match because we don’t want to lose any match and we promise to bring the cup back to Nigeria.

The victory over Ecuador has sealed the knockout stage ticket for Nigeria.
Their final group stage will come up on Saturday against Australia.
