It was fun and glamour with exciting football match as members of Confluence All Stars in Kogi State celebrated the birthday of their Chairman, Mallam Suleiman Umar with a football match.

The football match which took place at the Confluence Stadium in Lokoja on Saturday was part of programs to felicitate with Mallam Umar who is also the chairman of Kogi State Football Association.

The exhibition which was played between Confluence Stars players ended 1-1 draw between Team Umar and Team Chuks.

Alewo Stephen and Hon Shaba scored for both sides

After the match, a member representing Kogi/Lokoja Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Barrister Shaba Ibrahim lauded Mallam Umar for his leadership prowess adding that he’s true patriot.

Barrister Shaba however promised the All Stars’ continued support to Mal. Umar leadership.

An elated chairman in his response promised a better All Stars in 2021 with the support his members.

Other members of the Confluence All Stars Team present at the birthday gig include Alhaji Ibrahim Musa, former Coordinator of Flying Eagles, Mallam Mohammed Ajakpo, former Nigerian international, Abubakar Musa, among others
