Danga Assumes Office As Kogi New Commissioner for Water Resources

Hon. Abulmumin Danga on Friday assumed office as the new Kogi State Commissioner for Water Resources.

Danga was among the 17 new commissioners that were sworn-in on Wednesday at Government House, by His Excellency, Gov. Yahaya Bello.

Speaking to journalists after going round the various departments of the ministry, Danga expressed satisfaction with the behavior and disposition of the staff and for giving him warm welcome.

According to him, the staff are very good and I believe we are going to have a very good and peaceful relationship.

He noted that the immediate past commissioner had done well, saying he would add more flavour to his achievements.

He assured that they would provide very good and adequate water for the people of Kogi State, because water is life.

”We will immediately hit the ground running and I believe the issue of water scarcity in the confluence city would become a thing of the past.

”As for me, I believe in one thing which is EBIGO agenda and that is what we will work towards,” he said.

He urged the staff to put up the best attitude and character, saying that was the only way the could achieve the best.
