Ex Al Ahly forward, Junior Ajayi denies rumored move to Al Bataeh

Al Nasr star Junior Ajayi says he hasn’t signed a contract with Al Bataeh and knows nothing about a supposed deal.

The club who recently gained promotion to the main stream of the United Arab Emirates are looking to strengthen their squad for the next season.

Rumours then began swirling that the former Al Ahly forward has signed a contract with the Al-Bataeh Club Ground Landlords.

Ajayi has been one of the shining lights at Al Nasr this season and has attracted a lot of interest from the Gulf Region and Africa.

The player told the Media that he hasn’t even spoken to anyone from Al Bataeh.

‘I really don’t know anything about that,’ said the 36 Lion product.

‘They haven’t talked to me about anything, those people [Al Bataeh]. I know nothing. I called my agent as well and he told me he knows nothing about that.’

Ajayi spent five years with Al Ahly, winning multiple major trophies with the club before his journey with the Reds came to end in 2021.

After his departure, Ajayi joined Libyan side Al-Nasr as he signed a contract that ends by the end of this year.
