Ex Golden Eaglets midfielder signs 4 year deal with IFK Norrköping

Former Nigerian youth international Abdulrazak Ishaq has completed his move to join top Norwegian side, IFK Norrköping.

Ishaq who has being on trials with IFK since he was 16 years was announced and unveiled on Friday at the club house in Norrkoping after putting pen to paper on a four year deal.

Coach of the side, Jens Gustafsson told media during the unveiling ceremony that the 18 year old Ishaq is exceptional player that would add value to the team just as he believed the fans would enjoy him on and off the pitch as club ambassador.

“Ishaq, who comes from Nigeria, has trained with IFK on and off for a long time and has now signed on for the association. – We have come to know Ishaq for a long time, both as a player and as a person. We know him to be a very humble guy and player who we think will fit into IFK Norrköping in a very good way.

“He has exceptional qualities and is a hard working player. I am absolutely sure that our supporters will take Ishaq to their heart very quickly.

The young midfielder who played for Nigeria U17 national team in 2015 was also pleased to have completed the move to Norrköping and can’t wait to be part of the main team.

“It feels very good. IFK has taken care of me in a very good way. I want to thank all the players, leaders and my family. I really want to get on with the team fully and show them I deserve to be here.”
