The Kogi State Honourable Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon Idris Musa (Dajuma Oando) has expressed satisfaction with the just concluded “Six (6) by side” football competition organised by the Chief Security Officer to the Kogi State government, Alhaji, Abdulmalik Suleiman.

Hon Idris disclosed this shortly after the grand finale match between Kogi United fc and the Confluence Fitness Club at the state capital, Lokoja yesterday.

The Commissioner who was Special Guest at the maiden event commended the CSO for proving his passion for sports and providing medium for Kogites to display their talents, exposing them to available opportunities.

He urged the host to continue with this initiative and admonished other leaders to emulate the CSO in contributing their quota to sports development in the state.

The keenly contested game ended in favour of the Confluence Fitness Club with a 1:0 win on penalty shoot out.

He congratulated the tournament’s champions while appreciating all other participants.

“Thanks to all who contributed at any point to this success story.

” Am certain subsequent tournament shall witness more improvement than this, looking forward to seeing you. He added.
