Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello who just clocked 45th on the 18th June 2020 came from a disciplined and humbled background; he had an excellent home and acamedic training, an intelligent figure who became very successful at the tender age of 25.

Yahaya Adoza Bello is a symbol of success, breakthrough and a destiny child whose flare for humanity has earned him the honor of a winner, liberator and advocate of peace and unity; indeed, he is a visionary leader endowed with wisdom.

Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, had been through the thorns and stumbling blocks of life but as a destiny child, he breaks through barriers like a water gushing from the rocks.

He rose silently from being a committed civil servant with excellent track record of diligence and uptimum pertormance to an emerging entrepreneur whose brand soon became a household name. He rose steadily as a very successful business man before venturing into active politics, an unfriendly territory that further proved his reselience and determination to wade through murky waters.
His grand entry into Kogi politics remained epic.
Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello’s resolve to make positive change in the governance system of Kogi state received divine endorsement.

He came, he saw and he conquered.

Before his emergence as the Governor, Kogi was faced with multifaceted problems from stiffled economy to underdevelopment. There was high level of insecurity, unemployment, corruption, tribal sentiments, religious divides, communal/clannish crises, thuggery and maladministration.

Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello confronted the hydra headed challenges that stunted the growth and economic progress of the state. He succeeded in addressing some of the rot in the system and still tackling the remants of the ugly monsters bedeviling the sociopolitical redemption of Kogi State.

His patriotic spirit informed his decision to leave his comfort zone for the murky waters of politicking particularly in a zone as complex as Kogi. After grinding his axe and chopping through the thick woods in his first tenure as the 4th executive governor of the state, Alhaji Yahaya Bello is reinforced with renewed determination to build on the foundation he has laid for a prosperous Kogi State for all.

He has vowed to explore new grounds and enthrone a new era of inclusive governance, purposeful leadership to complement the already established equity, fairness, justice and harmonious coexistence among the various ethnicity that make up the state, thus, giving a marching order to his lieutenants to ” Let’s Do More”.

So much have happened in the last four years; the good, the bad and the ugly have shaped the system and re-positioned the state for greatness.

It is my ardent prayer that who ever will succeed Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello, after his successful 8 years tenure, God’s willing, should have a shared vision and the willingness to build on the foundation of united Kogi State of the New Direction governance with fear of God as established by His Excellency, Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello APC-led administration.

Kudos to my principal, my mentor, big brother, father and destiny helper, His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, the Executive Governor, Kogi State.
