The parent umbrella organization for former and serving Public Office Holders Association of Nigeria (POHAN), on Friday announced the appointment of some of its executives at the state level in Kogi.

A statement from the National Headquarters of the association, signed by its National Secretary, Hon. Kabiru Isa, confirmed the appointment of the state excos.

Recalled that Hon. Haruna Opanachi Yusuf, had since been appointed as the Chairman of POHAN in Kogi State.

In the press statement, Hon. Shiru Lawal, the Immediate Past Special Adviser to Kogi State Governor, and former Lokoja Local Government Administrator, was appointed as the Deputy Chairman, while Hon. Abdulrahman Badamasuiy, was appointed as the State Secretary of POHAN, Kogi State Chapter.

Badamasuiy is an Instructor at Kaduna Polytechnic, and Chief Executive of Home Bakery and Confectionaries, one time Chairman of Adavi Local Government.

Badamasuiy was also a former Kogi Commissioner for Environment, former Chairman Kogi State Pension Board and a member of the House of Representatives 7th Assembly.

In the same vein, Mr. Shola Gaddafi, a former DG Protocol, Government House, was appointed as the State Public Relation Offcer (PRO) of POHAN,

Other appointments are: Hon. Hassan Atayoma Omale, the Immediate past House of Representatives member representing Omala, Anpka and Olamaboro Federal Constituency, Kogi State, was appointed as Vice Chairman, Kogi East, while Hon. (Barr.) Olusegun Modeyin, was appointed asVice Chairman, Kogi West.

Hon. Modeyin, was former Secretary of Kabba/Bunu Local Government, and later elected as Chairman of the same local government.

Hon Hilary Amodu, the immediate past Idah Local Government Administrator, was appointed as POHAN Organizing Secretary, Kogi East, while Hon. Musa Bakare, as the Assistant State Secretary.

POHAN Board has also held their Extra Ordinary Meeting, and approved minor reshufflement at the National Headquaters of the Body.

The Acting National Secretary, Mr. Oluyemi Moses Eniola, has been replaced by Mr. Kabir Isah, a thorough bred and worldwide Management Consultant.

Mr Oluyemi Moses Eniola will now serve as the POHAN head of Training, while Dr Chris Irene Imumolen, the President of Onshore & Offshore Oil and Gas Professionals Association of Nigeria, was appointed as Technical Advisor.

Dr. Chris was a former Technical Adviser to Akwa Ibom State on Oil and Gas. He possessed two PhD Academic Degrees, three Master Degrees and Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering.

Mr Ajagun Samuel Opeyemi was appointment as the Chief Press Secretary to the National President of POHAN.

In a related development, Alhaji Aliyu Suleiman Aliyu (wambai Sabon Garin Tudun Wada), has been appointed as Kaduna State Chairman of POHAN.

Aliyu is the present Chairman of Kaduna Peoples’ Association (KPA), one time Aole Administrator of Kaduna South Local Government Area.

All the appointments are with immediate effect.
