The Nigeria Professional Football League is heading into the tenth round of games this weekend with players getting ready to express themselves on the pitch and secure good results for their teams.

Despite the return to the league, Kwara United fans have not been impressed although they appreciate the effort of the hierarchy in returning the team to the elite league by buying the spot of struggling Delta Force.

After losing their opening two games there have been increase in the fear of the supporters – who think they might return to the National League thereby rendering the decision to replace Delta Force a false one.

Despite the situation around the club, one name, Basheer Bolaji has been exciting the teeming fans with his exceptional performnace since making his premier league debut against Heartland at the Kwara State stadium.

Basheer a product of Kwara Football Academy is a pacy winger who can dazzle his way past defenders with ease has been attracting interest from the local fans with his matured performance against premier league stars in their last two games.

The 19-year-old attacker has shown the matured part of his game after been sent on loan to ABS FC for two seasons after graduating from the academy.

However, he awaits his first league goal for the Harmony Boys but his prowess in the academy where he scored 64 goals in 89 appearances has shown his quality in front of goal.

Ahead of the game against Rangers, Basheer who reveals his excitement in making his league debut declares his readiness to change the team fortune and get his first league goal.

“I feel so good and happy, and my aim that day was to score my first league goal on my debut.”

Kwara United host Rangers International at the Kwara State stadium in a bid to return the confidence of their supporters in their quest to retain the league status.
