Aremu who won the 2017 Aiteo Cup with Akwa United joined IK Start two seasons ago and has formed a strong member of the team spoke disclosed this in an interview Lets Gist Naija Football, a top sports WhatsApp platform on Sunday.

The 20 year old midfielder said he’s garnered more knowledge on the game and was looking forward to new adventure in top leagues like Premier League, Jupiler League and LaLiga.

“My contract is going to finish this December and I’m looking forward to end it well, I want to experience new challenge elsewhere in Europe like Belgium, England, Spain or Italy.

“My agent has informed me that IK (Start) have opened talks for new deal but I’ve asked him to hold on, I’m not getting any younger, I’m 20 years now and I also want to have more success and riches,” he said.

Aremu who grew through the ranks of Remo Stars added that he’s had more knowledge to manage distractions capable to harm his career development.

”I know that having made name and small riches in football will draw more ladies to us but I’ve learned how to deal with it, I don’t indulge in carrying women, I stay with a girlfriend and she understands me and my work and its being helpful, its all about communication and understanding,” said Aremu.
