…. Constituted Authority Must Be Respected, Says Hon. Kazeem Salako

Former House of Representative member representing the good people of Ado-Odo Ota Federal constituency and leader of All Progressive Congress (APC) Honourable Kazeem Salako has told party faithfuls that constituted authority must be respected.

Honourable Salako had to clear the air as regards incidents surrounding the APC primary election for the Ado-Odo/Ota Federal Constituency in Ogun West which was postponed due to security of lives and properties and the second ballot that was full of another drama.

According to former General Manager of Gateway Hotel, Ota, Hon. Kazeem Salako, “There is no iota of truth that as a Party Leader of APC Ado-Odo/Ota, that I could betray or act as a traitor to my Party.

“All was in top gear for the success of our Primary election for Ado-Odo/Ota Federal Constituency, all delegates, Party Officials and Aspirants were hoping for the best but at the end there were challenges which were unforseen.

“I want to state clearly that it’s unthinkable that persons within the APC family in our local government could tag me a traitor for events that occured during the Primary, we need to always respect constituted authority.

“Let me further say here that other Party Chieftains in Ado-Odo/Ota, Commissioner Samuel Durojaiye Aiyedogbon, Honourable Olayiwola Waliu Taiwo, Senatorial chairman Alhaji Azeez Muhammed (Ekwueme) and other prominent leaders, were summoned to a closed door meeting as regards the way forward and we all agreed to be on the same page with the leader of the state.

“We must have it at the back of our minds that nobody is bigger than our party, as the APC is supreme so all decisions taken with the other top party leaders in Abeokuta must be strictly adhered to for the good of all of us.

Recall the primary election was to be contested for by two political gladiators/titans, the immediate past Commissioner for Forestry in Ogun State, Honourable Tunji Akinosi and Honourable Jimoh Ojugbele who’s seeking a fourth term in the Green Chamber.

Others are former Acting General Manager Nigeria Port Authority, Engr. Musbau Alade Jimoh, FCA Abiola Bakare Onimokan, Princess Feyikemi Egbeyemi and Honourable Nuru Aina a two time Ogun state House of Assembly member representing the good people of Ota State constituency.
